You can use "Latin" to convert 7bit georgian standard . "E", "I", "V", "X", "H" are "old" georgian letters. You also can use transliteration in "Latin" mode. In this case translit is "maped" with GeoLatin(Georgian 7bit) like this:
"sh" is "S","ch"-"C","ts"-"w","tch"-"W",
"dz"-"Z","gh"-"R","th"-"T","kh"-"x","jh"-"J" ,"ph"-"f".
old letters:" `e "-"E"," `i "-"I"," `v "-"V"," `x "-"X"." `h "-"H".
example1: "SoSiaSvili" and "shoshiashvili" will be converted in same way. Reverse translation in LATIN mode gives output in GeoLatin (7 bit)--you will get "SoSiaSvili".
example2: "qeba`i da dideba`i qarthulisa enisa`i" in TRANSLIT . This is "qebaI da didebaI qarTulisa enisaI" in LATIN. Converting it geo8-bpg or geo8-gov will give correct text.
Since we have not CAPITAL letters in modern Georgian, I want to reserve Capital letters in translit for GeoTranslit<-->UNICODE conversion in future. "small" letters will be converted into modern georgian and capitals --- in Asomtavruli. So, we will be able to convert into "mixed" Modern-Asomtavruli text, or convert and see "mixed" UNICODE text in TRANSLIT . For now GEOTRANS & LATIN behave mostly same :).
